How long does it take to have a cake topper made?

Our generic (no customisation) cake toppers are available within 2-3 working days. Should a new design be required this will take one working week (5 working days). The couriers in UAE require next day delivery (please allow for two working days).

Our customised cake toppers are made to order and take a minimum of 5 working days to design and make. Please fill the customized details into the field provided on the product page and we will get back to you with artwork options to select from.

Our working hours are Sunday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5pm.

Saturday we are open from 9:30 - 2pm.

 

What size cake topper should I order?

Our shop page has an option for a 6 inch cake or an 8 inch cake. The only information we need about your cake is the top tier size in cm's or inches  and we will do the rest regarding the sizing.

Should your cake be smaller than 6 inches or larger than 8 inches we can still help. Please send us an email and we will send you the adjusted pricing for your cake size.

What sizing do you recommend for wall signage and plaques?

We offer guidance on sizing for wall signage and plaques. Sizing is often a personal preference. We would need the full measurements of the space where the signage will be placed as well as an image of the space to be able to offer guidance.

 

How do I mount the signage or plaque to the wall?

When attaching the signage or plaque to the wall, you need to make sure the wall is clean and dry. We recommend the use of double sided tape such as 3M or Command tape that is available at most hardware stores such as Speedex or Ace Hardware.

For the removal of the signage or plaque to another wall, care needs to be taken as the items are fragile and may break.

 

Do you make Arabic cake toppers or signage?

Yes we do! As you see in our shop most of our products are in Arabic. We work closely with our Arabic clients.

Our customisation field allows for all details to be provided ensuring the end result is perfect.

 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do! Please refer to our Shipping and delivery policy in the footer menu.

 

What should I do if my order has been lost by the courier?

We have not had any orders go missing yet, thank goodness!

All our products are packaged well to prevent the items from being damaged in transit. We take great care to make sure that your order will arrive in perfect condition with photos taken prior to packaging.

Once your order has been shipped, The Party cannot accept responsibility for loss or any damage to your package. We do monitor the delivery of our orders.

Should your order be damaged during courier delivery please do not remove it from the packaging. We must to be notified within a maximum of 12 hours of receipt supported by photos of the item and the packaging.

Please ensure you include full details of the damage. We will get back to you, in writing, within 48 hours.

The Party currently uses two courier companies:

1) Fetchr who will send you an sms to schedule make your booking. You will have complete control of the date and location of your delivery through the Fetchr app. A reference number will be provided on the app.

Should you not respond to Fetchr's sms they will only contact you after 3 working days. Fetchr courier can be reached on 04 801 8126 (closed on Fridays).

2) FedEX used for both local and international shipments. FedEX will provide a tracking number for your shipment that we will share with you. The local FedEX office will call you about your delivery, it is very important that we receive the correct contact number including all country / area codes.

 

Can you help with a rushed order?

Yes we can, we always try and accommodate rushed orders where possible.

Our availability does depend on the size of the order, artwork required as well as the time frame within which the order is required. Any customised order required in less than 5 working days is regarded as a rush order.

An express / rush orders fee of up to 20% of the order value will be charged if we are able to accommodate the order.

 

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments via credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express), PayPal and bank transfer.

For bank transfer proof of payment will need to be provided before your order is started.

 

Do you offer any discounts?

We are mindful of peoples budgets and try our best to keep costs as low as possible without compromising on quality.  

We import the majority of the materials we work with as these are not available in the UAE.

For this reason we only offer discounts on bulk orders.

 

Are your products available for wholesale?

We are always open to consider new wholesale clients. Please do email us to discuss this further.

 

What is your returns policy? 

Please choose your design carefully as we do not accept returns or provide refunds on our products. Each product is made to order, even our generic range as each size and material is client specific.

We have strict quality control processes in place and each item is carefully checked and photographed before it is dispatched.

As our products are made from a variety of materials there will be slight colour changes and imperfections in the materials we use which makes each item unique. This will be most noticeable with our wood material options.

Which courier companies do we use to send our goods out with?

As detailed above The Party currently uses Fetchr and FedEX to ship our clients orders locally and internationally.

For our international shipments a shipping quote will be obtained prior to the order being started for you approval and payment to secure your hassle free order with us.
